Ramon would like to thank God almighty for all the blessings that have been bestowed onto this theatre company. Ramon initially became interested in comedy, when his brother dared him to imitate his parents during family reunions in the 80’s. Needless to say he became quite good at imitating family members and grew a fondness for his bedroom due to “Time Outs” where he would work on his next big laugh. Ramon then went on to study at the Artistic Home, the Second City and the ImprovOlympic where he had the great honor of studying with the late great “Improv Guru” Del Close. Currently, Ramon can be seen in a cameo performance as a bartender in Ocean’s 12 and as an inmate in the up and coming film Let’s Go to Prison. Ramon is extremely excited be working with such a wonderfully talented cast and production staff in this all New Sketch Comedy Review. He would also like to give a “shot out” to all his former directors, cast and audience members that have supported Salsation through out the years. Thanks to his family, friends and Paulina his fiancée for their constant encouragement and finally a very special thank you goes to Patrick Garone for his patience, advice, talent and dedication to Salsation! Everything comes to those who wait.
Famous Salsation roles: The Hibaro, Abuelo, a drunken wannabe Santa Claus, nosy neighbor Sr. Charriez, Abuelita Anna Maria, Papote Pinata, Tequila Pete
Trivia: In the Touched by an Anglo sketch “Who Wants To Be An American Citizen?” that was Ramon under the burka as sympathetic Afghani contestant Salma Al-Habbibi Hassan.
